**Mathematics Middle School Course 1**

Middle School Math Course 1 provides comprehensive, Common Core (CCSS) and State

Standards (TEKS) coverage of Grade 6 Math and its prerequisites. Within this course, students

navigate learning paths based upon their level of readiness. This course covers whole numbers,

decimals, fractions, ratios, proportions, and measurement, percentages, integers and rational

numbers, equations and inequalities, graphs and functions, lines, angles, and polygons,

transformations, perimeter, area, and volume, and data analysis and probability. The program

offers ongoing assessment, learning, review, and visual tracking of student progress. In

addition, students complete a math-fact mastery program for multiplication, division, addition,

and subtraction.

**Mathematics Middle School Course 2**

Middle School Math Course 2 provides comprehensive, Common Core (CCSS) and State

Standards (TEKS) coverage of Grade 7 Math and its prerequisites. Within this course, students

navigate learning paths based upon their level of readiness. This course covers whole numbers

and integers, fractions, decimals, ratios, proportions, and measurement, percentages,

equations and inequalities, graphs, functions, and sequences, lines, angles, and polygons,

perimeter, area, and volume, and data analysis and probability. The program offers ongoing

assessment, learning, review, and visual tracking of student progress.

**Mathematics Middle School Course 3**

Middle School Math Course 3 provides comprehensive, Common Core (CCSS) and State

Standards (TEKS) coverage of Grade 8 Math and its prerequisites. Within this course, students

navigate learning paths based upon their level of readiness. This course covers whole numbers

and integers, fractions, decimals, ratios, proportions, and measurement, percentages,

equations and inequalities, graphs, functions, and sequences, exponents, polynomials, and

radicals, lines, angles, and polygons, transformations, perimeter, area, and volume, and data

analysis and probability. The program offers ongoing assessment, learning, review, and visual

tracking of student progress.

**Pre-Algebra Course Options**

Pre-Algebra provides comprehensive, Common Core (CCSS) and State Standards (TEKS)

coverage of all of Grade 8 Math, including a robust introduction to the basic concepts of algebra

and its prerequisites. Within this course, students navigate learning paths based upon their

level of readiness. This course covers whole numbers and integers, fractions, decimals, ratios,

proportions, and measurement, percentages, equations and inequalities, graphs, functions, and

sequences, exponents, polynomials, and radicals, lines, angles and polygons, transformations,

perimeter, area and volume, and data analysis and probability. The program offers ongoing

assessment, learning, review, and visual tracking of student progress.

Algebra Readiness provides comprehensive, Common Core (CCSS) and State Standards (TEKS)

coverage and also provides robust coverage of the basic concepts of algebra, algebra

prerequisites, and related math curriculum standards. Algebra Readiness does not provide

coverage of non-algebra middle school mathematics topics, such as probability, statistics, and

geometry. Within this course, students navigate learning paths based upon their level of

readiness. This course covers whole numbers and integers, fractions, decimals, ratios,

proportions, and measurement, percentages, equations and inequalities, graphs, functions, and

sequences, exponents, polynomials and radicals, perimeter, area and volume, and data analysis

and probability. The program offers ongoing assessment, learning, review, and visual tracking of

student progress.

Essentials for Algebra provides comprehensive, Common Core (CCSS) and State Standards

(TEKS) coverage and the necessary prerequisite topics that are central for success in Algebra 1,

including standards-based geometry, probability, and statistics concepts. Within this course,

students navigate learning paths based upon their level of readiness. This course covers whole

numbers and integers, fractions, decimals, ratios, proportions, and measurement, percentages,

equations and inequalities, graphs, functions and sequences, exponents, polynomials and

radicals, lines, angles, and polygons, transformations, perimeter, area and volume, and data

analysis and probability. The program offers ongoing assessment, learning, review, and visual

tracking of student progress.
